Lee Johnson and his wife Marcia re-located to Central Florida from Cincinnati, Ohio in 1983. As the story goes, Lee was the only one in Ohio who didn’t bowl, and the reason they asked him to leave Ohio was because he was messing up his State's average.
Since moving to the area Lee has spent many years in real estate and related services, getting his Florida Real Estate Sales license in 1986.
Lee obtained a solid education as Marketing Director of Beneficial Coporation – as many of you know, Beneficial was a 22 billion dollar worldwide conglomerate with title insurance offices in Orlando, Florida.
Even though experienced in residential and mortage banking, his real love is the commercial side of real estate and business development.
He cut his teeth in commercial real estate doing site selection for a select group of local and national companies expanding in the Florida market. During his employment with Summit Realty, Lee handled leasing, sales, site selection, new client development and tenant renovations for the Central and North Florida operations.
In 1994 Lee took a leave of absence to run a political campaign in Lake County, Florida. It was during this time he was asked to step in and temporarily run a small, struggling nonprofit called, Angel Flight. He committed to staying on for 90 days until a new Executive Director could be hired. The job lasted nine years.
During his tenure, Angel Flight grew from a small Leesburg, Florida based organization to one which provided care and service to a five state area. Lee was also instrumental in forming Angel Flight America, serving as its inaugural Chairman.
After leaving Angel Flight in 2003, he formed TransformU, a transformational practice for communities, businesses and individuals, assisted by a close friend and former Angel Flight Board member.
Lee continues to serve as the CEO of TransformU and brings strategic planning and execution skills to OneStop. TransformU also provides all the necessary training for employees and associates of OneStop Field Services.
When her husband, Lee, asked if she "wanted to go to Florida", Marcia thought, "That would make for a nice vacation." Little did she know it would be a permanent thing, nor does she mind after all these years.
Marcia graduated from Ohio State University with a degree in Finance and immediately entered the insurance industry. Her career started with Cincinnati Insurance Company in Cincinnati, Ohio.
